DADCO PROTECT is a durable, lightweight, and flexible bituminous protection board engineered to shield waterproofing membranes from site damage and puncture during back-filling operations. Manufactured from selected fine aggregates bound in oxidized asphalt and coated with polyester mat, this protection board delivers exceptional strength and reliability for vertical waterproofing applications.

Function & Purpose

DADCO PROTECT serves as a critical protection layer for waterproofing systems, providing permanent protection against mechanical damage during construction and throughout the building’s lifecycle. Its high puncture resistance safeguards waterproofing membranes from impact by sharp aggregates during back-fill processes and subsequent settlements, significantly improving overall system performance.

Installation Instructions

For Vertical Applications (Retaining Walls): DADCO PROTECT should be spot-bonded to the membrane using torch bonding method. Light torching can be applied to specific areas of the membrane, and the protection board should be immediately attached to ensure proper adhesion.
